The Garden of Grace grows and delivers fresh vegetables to local agencies and needy families.
Contact: Joy Olcott
Volunteer Positions: Tilling, planting, weeding, harvesting, delivering
Training: No experience necessary. Volunteers will be trained on the job.
Commitment: Volunteers can help whenever their schedule allows. Work begins in late March/early April and run through November. We have scheduled work parties in the garden, but you can also work on your own time whenever you want. We make deliveries 3-5 days a week from May until November.
Equipment Needed: Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own garden tools and gloves to group work parties, because we have a limited supply. If working alone or with one or two others, you may use the tools, gloves, wheelbarrow, baskets, etc. available in the shed behind the Thrift Shop. Contact Joy Olcott for the combination.
