John 7:45-53 (Oct 28th)
The Pharisees so full of envy of Jesus, and threatened by Him, refuse to even consider that Jesus is the Messiah. While it is easy to condemn them for their spiritual blindness, and their self-interest, I am reminded that all to easily I can display the same attitudes to others around me. I need to be more open to the movement of God around me and in the lives of others!

It is very easy to get buried under our own to-do-list. We must stop and reach out to others. Even if it is just a short e-mail or phone call. It’s not all about us. We all need to hear that kind word or two. ” Hey I was thinking about you today. How you doing?” It only takes just a few minutes to help lift up someone who may need it.
